Hi, my Name is Lucas and I'm a freelance filmmaker and editor based in Jena, Germany.
My filmmaking journey began in the corporate world, where I learned to tell stories within a wide range of formats and environments. But it didn’t take long for me to realize what truly fascinates me: real people, honest moments, and stories that carry something deeper. Today, as an independent filmmaker, I focus increasingly on documentary and story-driven projects.
I’m drawn to films that feel raw, authentic, and deeply human — films that don’t just show something, but make you feel something. My approach is rooted in authenticity. I want to create an environment where people can be themselves and stories can unfold naturally. Whether I’m following someone on an adventure, documenting a personal journey, or capturing a story that deserves to be heard.
At the same time, my work extends beyond documentaries. I produce branded and corporate films, music videos, and other visual formats, and I also work extensively in post-production for adventure filmmakers and YouTube creators.
I work with companies, private clients, and creative agencies, adapting my approach to each project while always keeping one thing at the center: the story.
